Tooth Colored Fillings
In our office, 98% of the fillings we do are tooth colored. These new materials not only offer better esthetics but they require less removal of tooth structure and bond together with the tooth structure, thus strengthening the tooth and reducing the possibility of fractures. If proper oral hygiene procedures (brushing and flossing) are practiced, sugar intake is controlled and have frequent dental recalls and prophylaxis we can expect longevity of a minimum of 7 - 10 years or even more from these materials.
