The Doctor
Dr.Kostis Giannakopoulos was born in 1968 in Thessaloniki and received his Dental degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He completed the 2 year postgraduate Program in General Dentistry at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York and has also completed the Graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and many other organizations.
He is doing research in the field of Esthetic Dentistry, has lectured in many countries and has written scientific articles in many Dental Journals. In 1996 he received the Best Research Award from the International Association of Dental Research (I.A.D.R.). He has received his PhD from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He is part time teaching at the Dental School of the same University in the Department of Operative Dentistry. He is a founding member of the Hellenic Academy of Esthetic Dentistry where he currently serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Trustees. He is the editor in chief in the Dental Journal Focus on Dentistry.
